Wish me luck with this one

So I decided to venture into the wild…beyond retracing the original route of Lewis and Clark or breaching the depths of the Antarctic…instead of those death-defying adventures, I decided to try-out Comcast’s home installation do it yourself kit. Being very familiar with Comcast and how they operate as a corporation, I’m fully aware that the company’s sales wing is populated with the nicest, most intelligent people on their payroll, and that they’ve all self-tested the do it yourself kits and that “it worked fine for them.” I’m fully prepped for this thing to go off without a hitch — but buyer beware, the self installation kit comes in a huge box and weighs, no kidding, about 40 pounds. Not recommended for the CTA commute on the Blue Line. My favorite part of the packaging is the STOP: Do not open this package unless your computer can connect to the Internet! We’ll see how it goes when they send the signal — just like when they remotely lowered Khan’s shields in Star Trek II.
