The View From Above.

Our collective affection for all things space-related has been well-documented on this blog before…so we absolutely had to point you to this gallery of photos from NASA astronaut Ron Garan (@Astro_Ron on Twitter), who is currently living and working on the International Space Station.

Highlights include images of a meteor falling into the atmosphere, what it looks like when the sun and the moon set simultaneously, and several images of different regions of the world at night. There are over 300 different photos of our big blue planet and if we weren’t so busy here we’d probably spend the rest of the day staring at them in jaw-dropped amazement.

Thanks, Col. Garan!
