Look familiar?

Thanks to Steve Delahoyde for the link to this fantastic compilation on Fair Trade Photographer of a series of companies and advertisements from around the world using the same stock photo. You might know that we have a blast with these stock photos and they’re becoming the cornerstone of our ongoing non-marketing marketing strategy. In fact, we were at an expo a couple of weeks ago and featured a big foam core poster of one of our fake ads featuring a Doctor and a few other doctors and nurses. Numerous people, of course, initially thought that we were a medical marketing company — and then quickly got the bit — but some couldn’t make the leap and continued asking leading medical questions, wondering if we did advertising for pharmaceuticals, surgical instruments, etc. One guy knew if we had a videographer who films surgical procedures for researchers.
