This is the original PERL Podcast logo from late 2008. We started the podcast at PERL’s main office on Belmont in Chicago, on the heels of a conversation I had with my brother in D.C. on the weekend of the Army Ten Miler. We were talking about the upcoming Federal bailout and the collapse of prominent Wall Street investment banks and he mentioned that the general population probably didn’t know, or really think they needed to know, something as simple as What The Fed Actually Does. So we started this ongoing series of interviews. Since its inception, the podcast has become a virtual hub for loan officers to partner with real estate agents, financial planners, appraisers and even closing agents from Chicago Title. It’s a lot of fun to host, mostly because I actually have to learn enough information about the Thing of the Moment to be able to talk about it. Chicago Agent magazine published this article about the podcast, and we’re glad to see it’s gaining some steam. To listen to episodes, visit perlmortgage.com.
