A blog a day for 2011: can it be done?

Not sure — but we’re gonna go for it. In the meantime, please enjoy this photo taken from Rocket Garden a few weeks ago at Kennedy Space Center in Orlando, Florida during a short layover while I was directing a cruise ship show for The Second City. Favorite part about Rocket Garden is, of course, the fact that it’s just a big garden area full of old classic rockets from the Golden Age of the space race. Least favorite part is that it’s not in Chicago. The rocket to the left with the little red escape tower at the top was the rocket that launched the first Mercury capsules into space. Nice!
