We’re very fortunate to have PERL Mortgage and Jameson Real Estate clients, and it’s always a lot of fun when they both ask us to produce an event. The New Jameson (check out www.jameson.com for the lowdown recently celebrated their 1-year anniversary and we were pleased to help out with coordinating the live entertainment and games. Lotsa fun.
This was a fun event — we didn’t really put on a show of any sort, but helped produced a co-branded night of entertainment between PERL and Jameson to celebrate Jameson’s volleyball team “Diggin’ Jameson,” which is a great name for a volleyball team. They had a game at North Avenue Beach, then we capped the night with a big party at Castaway’s on the lakefront. After living in Chicago for 13 years, I can finally say I rolled at that boat-like structure that serves-up nonstop Jimmy Buffet and a Buffet of Wings. Fun times all around.
The April event went so well that we were asked to do another in May. PERL and Jameson love the idea of producing co-branded networking events and it’s always a great collaboration, because the marketing folks at both companies are always up for new and innovative ideas. This time around, we wrote a customized scene poking fun at Jameson — and capped the night with food from Uncle Julio’s. Sounds like a regular old night, but if you were there, you probably had a total blast. Special thanks to Germaine at Uncle Julio’s for literally providing the best customer service of all time.
PERL Mortgage and Jameson Real Estate were looking for an interesting and unique new way to create a co-branded event, so we pitched the idea of serving up an improv show featuring some great Chicago improv vets and a boatload of realtor and loan officer bits, and the event went great. The event was held at Jameson’s headquarters at North & Sedgwick, and everyone had a ball.
Yesterday afternoon, we did a really fun gig for our friends at A and N Mortgage (named after the co-founders Aaron and Neena). They rented out Andersonville’s favorite wine tasting hub, In Fine Spirits, and invited us to perform a brief comedy show as a fun entree to a realtor networking event. Kudos to some of the A and N folks (Brad and Kiki) for stepping in and playing themselves!
